Acting violently towards the opposition will only add more hatred. Using nonviolence and words may take longer, but with perseverance, the point will eventually get across, and it can really make a difference. I choose the nonviolent side. I could never let myself sink so low as to threaten/ actually hurt someone with a weapon such as a gun- especially when that is the exact thing they were doing to (my) side that (we) are so valiantly trying to stop. I realize of course that the point that is trying to be made will be heard and seen almost instantly, but in the long run, it will just add more harm than good.
