I think that it would be hard for me to be violent in order to get my point across. I wouldn't just be risking my life, I would also be risking the lives of others. Sam and other African Americans shouldn't get violent, because it will only make matters worse with the cops. If they got violent, cops would use that against them. Nonviolence is getting the point across because it let the general public know that they weren't there to fight but just to express their ideas and opinions.
