I think it wasn't right for Sam to re-hide the gun. He should have shown it to his father. His father would put a stop to it all, and Sam would be off the hook. Of course Sam shouldn't remain involved with the Black Panthers--they just want to shoot anyone who disagrees with them. He should stick with his father--violence is never the solution!

  1. i disagree with you when you say that the BPP just wants to shoot people who disagree. So far, they have only used the guns as warnings and to scare people. Violence like you say, is not the solution(try conflict resolution!!!)

  2. Hmm... they just want to shoot anyone who disagrees with them? Sam and Stick's father disagrees with their ways, and Martin Luther King believed in non-violence as well, but the Black Panthers did not shoot them. Yes, I know what you mean, but I think Kennedy's way of putting it was more clear and true.
