I would have a hard time keeping calm and nonviolent especially after all the violence directed towards me, but nonviolence would be my side for many reasons. Firstly, nonviolence has been proven to work better in the long run, and although you might be able to get revenge on one person with violence, you will only get more violence in return and your team is no closer to winning. Also there is always a possibility of getting arrested and jailed, which makes it impossible to protest both nonviolently and violently. Lastly, violence only gives the whites a reason for arrests and segregation, and enforces the stereotype of black people being criminals. I would definitely choose nonviolence.
